Marsh marigold is a wonderful plant of marshy and swampy places throughout our range. It grows in wet black muck at the edges of wetlands, in hardwood swamps, and along springs and seepages. It has beautiful rich yellow flowers in the spring, as well as attractive leaves and fruit capsules.
